A group show with Zing.

‘Material Remains’ presents a conceptually explorative visual journey into themes and connotations surrounding archaeology. Sparked by an ongoing project where ZING artists are working with Southampton’s Archaeology Unit, the exhibition showcases individual and collaborative practices in response to its title.

The exhibition will include works, which take direct influence from the Archaeology Unit’s collection, as well as works which more broadly consider archaeological themes.

‘Material Remains’ is the second exhibition by ZING artists in Southampton. ZING is a free networking group for artists at any career stage with connections to Southampton. It was set up and is run by ZEST Collective.
